Description
A composite is any structure built from a number of different materials. Composite windows, therefore, are usually a mix of wood, vinyl, aluminum, plastic, or other build types.
The purpose is usually to have a durable outer sash that can handle the elements of nature (vinyl or aluminum), and an inner sash that better fits the style of the home (wood).
